The Library’s 2021 Summer Learning Program continues in July with a number of upcoming events that incorporate this year’s theme ‘Tails and Tales’.

The first event is called “Butterfly Gardens” and takes place on Tuesday July 6 at 2 pm in the program room on the second floor of the library. During the event, attendees can learn what butterflies look like and learn how to plant their own butterfly garden. Registration is required to attend this event. To register, go to:

The second event in July is “Tails and Tales with Animal Wonders! which takes place on Tuesday, July 13 at 3:30 p.m. in the program room on level two of the library. During this program, participants can join us on a tour of Animal Wonders’ Animal Ambassadors to answer any questions and learn the stories behind the tails. Later in July, the library will host the “Wind River Karelian Bear Dogs” program, which will take place Thursday, July 22 at 4:00 pm. During this event, participants will join biologists from the Wind River Bear Institute and their Karelian bear dog. The partners present a live demonstration on the use of these highly skilled K-9 wildlife to prevent or reduce human-wildlife conflict. Watch these “bear shepherds” in action as they teach both humans and wildlife how to coexist. Registration is required to attend this event. To register, go to:
