Cosmo Tech Plan enables turnaround managers, field managers and planners to optimize their turnaround plans through resource leveling, crash tests, daily monitoring, contingency plans and sensitivity analysis.

With our solution, they can easily create a dynamic Simulation Digital Twin reflecting all interconnected planning data (PPM tools and structured data), business processes and resources (human resources, physical resources, room congestion…) into a unique tool, allowing them to make informed and optimal decisions during turnaround preparation and execution phases.

Assess the planning’s feasibility by running simulation, analyzing global and local issues and testing action levers impact to build a realistic and reliable plan.

Resource leveling

Schedule tasks according to their constraints & interdependencies and adjust your resources to prevent overallocation and save time during the turnaround preparation.

Planning sensitivity analysis

Analyze the sensitivity of your planning by running several simulations at once, each introducing pre-configured unexpected events. Assess the planning’s resilience via aggregated KPIs and analyze the impact of your mitigation plan.

Planning execution management

Update the planning regularly (delayed tasks, resources current state...), identify next bottlenecks and test decisions quickly. Increase decision reliability and save time by considering all business processes and resource constraints.

Human & Stock Equipment Resources

Consider teams and equipment availability during the whole project to make it realistic. Complex calendars can be taken into account.

Dynamic priority evolution

Execute tasks in their order of total float to limit their impact on the turnaround duration. If relevant, priorities can increase during the project based on their decreasing total float.

Equipment Lockout/Tagout

Take into account lockout / tagout (LOTO) equipment states compatibility for task execution. Reduce delays related to LOTO constraints and identify blocking situations to correct them before they arise.

Room Congestion

Consider room congestion arising due to the presence of temporary equipment (e.g. logistic elements). Easily identify possibilities of sharing, anticipating or temporizing logistic equipment set-up/tear-down activities to avoid their impacts.

Variable / Fixed Task Duration

Choose between variable or fixed units and durations to better take into account the nature of the activity in your planning.
